Read: Matthew 6:9-13

Study:  What does it mean, “your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”? Jesus, while he did have great concern for the afterlife, he was much more concerned about this life we are living now. When Jesus talks about the Kingdom of God, he was talking about this idea of earth reflecting the glory and righteousness of heaven. The awesome part about the bringing about of this kingdom is that we play a crucial role. Jesus calls us to live in a way that transforms the world into a place more reflective of the heavenly kingdom he describes. What is one thing you can do today that reflects this kingdom?

Pray: Lord God, I ask that you give me the wisdom and discernment to see what it takes to transform this world. Show me what a kingdom of God might look like here on Earth. Amen.
