Read: 1 Timothy 6:9

Study: Our temptations are often brought about by the worldly things around us, not God. We are blessed with many things. Those things can often become temptations. The more we rely on things, the less we try to rely on God. We see that all the time with people who let their money, position, or power tempt them to do things that are not of God. Is there anywhere in your life where you are allowing your worldly things keep you from relying fully on God?

Pray: Sustaining God, thank you for the blessing you have given me. Give me the strength and guidance to not allow those thins to come between us. If they do, let me rid myself of it all. Amen
