Study:  The theme for this week is waiting and patience. Patience is something that is difficult for most of us. We are busy people with busy schedules. In the age of the internet, when things are at our fingertips whenever we want them, when Amazon Prime delivers anything within 2 days, we have become impatient. The Psalms show us over and over again that patiently waiting is an important virtue. There are things worth waiting for. What, in your life, causes you to be impatient? Think about what your day would look like if you slowed down and practiced patience.

Prayer: Heavenly God, in this fast-moving world, help me to slow down. Give me patience to wait on what is good in life. Amen.
