Read: John 21:1-3

Study: After Jesus was crucified and died, Peter went back to what he knew best; Fishing. Peter went back to his comfort zone. How often do we retreat back to our comfort zones when things don’t go the way we plan? For many people, this can feel like being stuck in a rut or, for some, old habits can reemerge. Our comfort zones can, at times be a place for rejuvenation and life but often they are places or habits that do not further our relationship with God. What are your comfort zones? Today, think about how these places or habits and reflect on how beneficial they are to you.

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to recognize my comfort zones. When things get tough or when I feel down, help me run to you. In your name, Amen.
