Wearing God’s Armor – 1st Session – The Belt of Truth

  • WHEN: July 19th, 2025, Saturday, single morning event from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
  • Parents pickup is at 12:00 noon, but families are invited to stay, after checking child out, for bbq picnic & water fun from 12:00-12:30pm
  • WHERE: Connect UMC, 5400 N. Coltrane Rd., Edmond, OK 73034
  • COST: VBS is free to attend. Pre-registration is requested to help plan for the day

A morning at Connect VBS

Take Your Kids to Bible Boot Camp this Summer! A children’s ministry special half day bible school event. Based on Ephesians 6:11-18, teaching kids how to put on the armor of God everyday. This is the first of four planned one day VBS events. Our July boot camp, “The Belt of Truth“, children will learn how the Belt of Truth can help protect us from lies that separate us from God. They will learn through lessons, crafts, activities. Snacks will be provided.

Open to all children currently Pre-K through 5th grade. Pre-registration open through July 16, 2025 (for event planning).

Families are invited to stay for bbq picnic/water fun from 12:00-12:30. HINT: Kids (& possibly adults) will get wet during water fun time, so parents need to bring towels and/or change of wet clothes after picnic.

PARENTS SAVE THE DATES FOR THE REMAINING WEARING GOD’S ARMOR VBS SERIES:

  • October 11th, 2025
  • January 31st, 2026
  • April 26th, 2026
