Read: Matthew 5:6

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (NIV Matthew 5:6)

Study:  What do you desire? For many of us, we desire stability for our families. We desire financial independence. We desire many things that are good, but we must never forget what we should desire above all others; Righteousness in Christ. When we follow Christ, our hearts are changed and we begin to desire the things that please the Lord. When we desire to see righteousness in this world, those things we once desired (money, time, material things) are no longer our focus. Today, do one thing that is focused on righteousness in this world. That could be helping a coworker, telling someone about your faith, or paying for someone’s groceries at the store. Whatever it is, do it with intentional love in mind.

Pray: May my feel always follow the path you have laid before me. May my deeds always reflect your love. Amen.
