Study: As we see in the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, sometimes follower of God are asked to do things that go against what they believe. It would have been very easy for the three men to simple bow and obey the king but they put their duty above God above all else. They were willing to sacrifice themselves to do what was right. Next time you are faced with the doing what is easy or doing what is right, I encourage you to remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego’s story. Do the difficult thing and, perhaps, God will do something miraculous.

Prayer: Heavenly protector, embrace me in your arms. Grant me courage and strength to do what is right even when it is hard. Amen.
