A Message From Pastor Adam
Hello Church Family! As the end of another school year approaches and we transition into the summer months I wanted to let you know about a few upcoming events. I particularly want to highlight 2 events. This Saturday at 8:00 AM is our all church work day. If you are able to come out this Saturday for a few hours and lend a hand cleaning up the church grounds we would appreciate your help. The second event is our volunteer appreciation dinner on June 9th. If you have volunteered in any capacity this past year at Connect, I would love to host you at my home. Please join us for a meal and let us say thank you!

May 17th (Friday) ~ 6:00pm: Women of Connect will be going to Showbiz Cinema Edmond for the 6:15 showing of new movie “IF” followed by dinner afterwards (location to be determined). Cost: Approx $14 per movie ticket, plus cost of any snacks/beverages and dinner. Ladies, meet at the ticket office by 6:00 pm so we can purchase tickets & seating together. Please RSVP to Sasha Dinkins if you are planning on attending (sasha@connectumc.org).
May 18th (Saturday) ~ 8am: It’s time for an old-fashioned spring spruce up of Connect! Need volunteers (all ages welcome) to show up to help trim trees and staining/sealing wood trim. Wear work clothes, bring work gloves, chain saws, hand saws & sheers, tree trimming tools, paint/stain brushes. (All outdoor work)
June 9th ~ 5:00 pm: Save the date! We are hosting a volunteer appreciation dinner at Pastor Adam & Jen Ricks home. This is open to anyone who volunteered in any capacity at/for Connect during this past year. Please contact Pastor Adam for address & RSVP in order to prepare enough for everyone.(adam@connectumc.org)
June 11th (Tuesday) ~ 6:00 – 8:00 pm: The Men of Connect will be going to Top Golf, 13313 Pawnee Dr. (Between Western & Memorial), OKC, OK. Cost: $40 per person includes bay/entry fees, shared snack, and beverage. Must prepay online via church website link (connectumc.org) no later than June 2nd. Please RSVP to Pastor Adam as well (adam@connectumc.org).
June 16th: We will celebrate all fathers on this Sunday having a hot dog cookout after worship. Bring you lawn chairs and/or lawn blankets to spread out and enjoy time with dad!
