An Introduction
Hello Connect Church Family! As we prepare for the coming of Easter I will be sharing a sermon series titled, “Overcoming the Lies.” To accompany the sermon series and help us grow as individual Christians, we have also put together this devotional guide. I hope this will be a blessing to you! Every weekday, for the next several weeks, you are invited to join your church family and spend a few moments in this book. A number of people from our church community have contributed to make this booklet possible. On other days I have shared short thoughts on scriptures and left space for you to pray through what the scripture means for you. I hope you will join me and many others in your church family as we prepare for the coming of Easter!

Someday I will… be more organized! Someday I will. … improve my prayer life. Where does the time of “Some Day” go?
I think of the times I put off organizing my many years or photos. Every so often I pull out the boxes of photos, reliving the life events, fun times, vacations, many fun memories, hoping to get started. I wind up stacking the happy memories back in the boxes saying ” I will do it someday”. There are brief moments of thinking of the hardships, struggles and mistakes made during our life, not captured on film, I call them learning events. I had doubts of making it through some of those times. The Lord was with me, but sometimes I didn’t realize it till after the storm cleared. I was so thankful to move forward. I did thank God for those blessings, but did I really carry through with this thankfulness every day? Some days forgetting to give thanks for the struggle I received for the current day. My “Some Day” will be expiring sometime. My ” Some Day” thoughts are starting to be my “Today I Will Do,” be more prayerful to thank and praise the Lord for his love, giving me strength and comfort to make this the best day, to show love and kindness to all. “Surely Goodness and Love Will Follow Me” each day, even through my mistakes and struggles.
