“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

Study: Sometimes, when we seek to live out spiritual disciplines in our lives, we can fall into the temptations that the world throws at us. We all face temptation in our lives. It can be difficult to turn away from that temptation. Remember, Christ knows what it is like to be tempted. He was tempted in the wilderness and was tempted on the cross. We are not alone in this temptation. We can find strength in knowing that Christ walks with us.

 Prayer: Jesus, when you were tempted, you relied on God. Give me the strength to rely on you when temptation comes my way. Thank you for your example. Amen.
