GPS Guide Sept 19th, 2017

Read: John 21:4-14

Study: When Peter and disciples were fishing, Jesus appeared to them and gave them advice but they did not recognize him. Jesus speaks to us in many ways but if we are not ready to listen for him, we can miss what he is trying to tell us. This requires intentionality on our part. We must always be listening for Christ to speak to us. This means looking for Christ to speak through people you wouldn’t often expect.  Keep an ear out today for Christ. Listen for him in places you normally wouldn’t. Listen for him in people you normally wouldn’t. He may just be telling you to cast your net somewhere else.

Prayer: Lord, today I listen for your voice. Help me to recognize its many forms. Ready my heart to listen to what it is you are trying to tell me. Thank you for speaking in our world. Amen.
