Read: John 21:18-24

Study: When Jesus got done asking Peter if he loved him, Jesus tells peter to follow him. What does Peter do? He turns to the “Loved Disciple” and asks why he wasn’t being asked to follow. Like Peter, when we are convicted to do something for the Kingdom of God, we often point at other people and ask, “What about them?” Jesus makes it clear that his plans are greater than our own. Today, focus on what Christ is calling you to do. Don’t worry about what Christ is calling other people to do.

Prayer: God, sharpen my focus. When you call me, give me the will to focus on what you are calling me to do. Do not let me worries wander to what others are called to do. Amen.
