Build friendships, encourage men in spiritual growth and reach out to the men in our church family and community with the love of Jesus.

  • through our monthly get-together as we get to know each other
  • through church events with our families
  • through missions, social events and retreats
• Encourage:
  • by lifting each other up through prayers and acts of service
  • by becoming a prayer chain so we can lift each other during times of need and in times of joy
  • though devotionals and bible studies
• Reach Out:
  • by supporting the other ministries of our church
  • by supporting and reaching out into our local communities

This group is open to all adult men of Connect UMC.

CONNECT MEN – MEETING 2025 SCHEDULE:

September 12th (Friday) - 6:30pm - Comets Baseball Night Out

Batter up! All men of Connect are invited to an evening of baseball and fellowship. This event does have assigned seating, so pre-purchase of tickets is required. Please prepay online no later than September 1^st.

Group check-in at ballpark 6:30pm - Attendees will meet Adam near front ballpark entry gate for group entry together ~ game starts at 7:00pm:

• When: September 12th (Friday) - 6:30pm check-in (game starts at 7:00pm)
• Where: Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 2 S. Mickey Mantle Dr., OKC, OK 73104
• Cost: $20.00 per person (prepaid) for reserved seats (Prepaid by Sept 1st)
•  Additional cost for parking and money for refreshments will be needed at the event

August 22nd (Friday) - 6:30pm ~ 8:30pm - Annual Trivia Night

• Connect Men's Group and Girlfriends Connect (Women’s Group) will be having a combined group event this month for a fun evening of "Battle of the Sexes"  Trivia night. Everyone is asked to bring a shareable potluck item.  Bring the whole family, this year we will have activity for the youth and children
• Where: Connect UMC, 5400 N. Coltrane Rd., Edmond, OK 73034
• Cost: None
• Please bring a shareable potluck item
