Connect Newsletter – Post From Pastor (07-05-2025)

A Message From Pastor Adam

Hello Church Family! I hope you are all having a great 4th of July Holiday weekend! As you remember the freedom we are blessed with in our country, I encourage you to also take time to remember the freedom Christ provides us with. This Sunday we will be learning about Moses crossing the Red Sea. When the Hebrew people were trapped, God did a miracle to set them free. We are also trapped by sin, and Jesus works the miracle of grace to set us free. I hope you will join us.

Next week we will begin our first of the summer Connect Groups. If you have not yet signed up for a Connect Group, I encourage you to check the information below.

Blessings to you all, and I hope to see you soon!

Pastor Adam Ricks

It’s still not too late! Three new summer study groups this summer.

CRUSHING CHAOS
There is chaos in your life, probably more than you bargained for. But rest assured that the God of the Bible is neither intimidated nor stumped by your chaos. He knows exactly how to conquer it and create order in your life. The story of the Bible centers on God’s work of bringing form and function to the messes we humans make. In fact, His solution for the chaos found in Genesis wasn’t to automatically provide peace – it was to establish order. And for good reason.

EMBRACING CHURCH
A seminar that evaluates, equips, and encourages participants to become a spiritually-healthier body of believers in Jesus Christ. During this entertaining study we will come to recognize how our words and actions square with our outreach to others. Since we are not Christians only on Sunday morning, the end-goal is that each of us will better intrinsically reflect Christ in our everyday lives. This study is suitable for all ages. To allow for adequate materials, advanced sign-ups are strongly encouraged.
