Study: Thomas Didymus was a man who could not believe something until he had seen it with his own eyes. When Jesus appeared to the disciples in the upper room in John 20, Thomas would not believe that it was Christ until he touched the nail holes in Jesus’ hands. Even though he doubted, God used Thomas to extend his Earthly Kingdom. Thomas became a missionary who took the word to India. Legend says that he helped to build a great palace for an Indian kind but was eventually martyred for his faith. We all doubt at times. What matters is how we respond to God in our lives after that doubt. Think about how you can respond today.
Pray: God, even though I doubt, you love me. Use me, like you used Thomas, to spread your Kingdom here on earth. Amen.
