Read: 1 Corinthians 1:10
Study: Are we united in one mind? That seems nearly impossible! What we must understand is that Paul was writing this letter to the church in Corinth. He wasn’t saying that all people in Corinth need to be of one mind. He is saying that people in the CHURCH are to strive to be of one mind about the things that are important to Christians. We are called to set aside out political and personal differences so that we can come together as Christ followers. We will never all agree about politics or even what our favorite flavor of ice cream is but we can all agree that we follow a uniting Christ who is bigger than all of our differences.
Prayer: Holy God, give us the strength to see beyond the things that divide us. Bring us together as your followers so that we may be of one mind in you. Amen.
