Daily Devotional – Day 21 Wesley Challenge
Day 21: When Did I Last Share My Faith?
Scripture:
1 Peter 3:15
Daily Challenge:
Look for one opportunity today to share God’s love—through words, encouragement, or action.
Teaching:
If you came across a lost man dying of thirst in the desert, and you had plenty of water, it would be unthinkable to cling to your canteen and watch him die. The faith we have in Jesus gives us the hope, peace, and purpose we need to navigate the desert of life. Our faith is meant to be shared. Not out of pressure or obligation, but out of love. When we experience the goodness of God, it naturally overflows into how we live and what we say. Sharing our faith does not always mean having all the right words—it often begins with simple acts of kindness, encouragement, and honesty about what God has done in our lives. Many people hesitate to share their faith because they feel unprepared or afraid. But God does not call us to make a sales pitch, but to share our story. When we trust Him, He provides opportunities and gives us the words we need. Evangelism is not about winning arguments; it is about sharing hope. Today, be open to the ways God might use you.
Reflection Questions:
- When was the last time I shared my faith with someone?
- What holds me back from sharing more openly?
- Who is one person I can pray for and reach out to?
Prayer:
God, give me the courage to share Your love with others. Open my eyes to opportunities around me. Help me to speak with kindness and truth. Use my life to point others to You. Fill me with boldness and compassion.
